OBDII Cable InTune

Post by turbogn2 »

Purchased a new InTune for a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland.
OBDII cable does not fit into port because the cable comes out from the side, needs to come out from top of plug.
Any alternatives?

Huh? Thats the same cable that used to come with the Trinity, and there are literally thousands of people using that on 05-10 Grand Cherokees, myself included. It definitely fits. Its close to the dash, but its does fit.

Mike:
The receiver part of the receptacle is surrounded by a box. I do get a connection, but have to bend the end of cable.
Plug won’t go all the way in. Will post picture when requested.

Thanks,

I know its surrounded. I had a GC SRT8 before the Caddy. Thats how I know it fits, because I used to keep it plugged in all the time. They used to sell a straight one for other cars, if you'd rather have a little more space, but I have no idea if they're still available.
