U7151 w/ 91 Roush CAI

Post by gabegarcia076 »

Help needed. I had Spectre and then got AFE which both didn't work now I purchased Roush and I am sitting money on CAI all surrounding the U7151. I would get a Trinity but CA emissions bull crap. Any ways, at idle both my short/long term fuel fun at between -5 to +4 but as I run WOT monitor it floats around +14 . Before both were at around + 20 - +24. until I +10 on the MAF curve. It also go my STFT perfect on all rpms. Before I added to the curve I got 2 misfire codes on 1 and 3 . I changed the plugs and coils and still have a slight hesitation. I tried 3 CAI with numerous hours on the web and internet search. The LTFT now stay at +5 but when I got the had it goes str8 up +15 while the ST day around +4. I do have the latest version 9r11 version ; Predator U7151 ; 2004 Ford F150, 5.4l 3V, Serial d00652c. Cal I'd: RXAP9N5
Can you please help me . Attached are files ORIG, LAST TUNE, REAL TIME LOG
mods : SISO car back, 6 inch lift with 35 in tires
Thanks.
Also can I get a 87 economy and a 91 tow tune for my Diablo Predator package because it's not in my Tunes only 87 and 91:c

the tune you have for Roush should work perfectly with that intake Id suggest first that you look for any possible leaks.

for those of you having tuning problems with 2004 Ford F150 5,4l 3v. any CAI will make your vehicle run very lean. super lean. heres my solution after conntless hours and days of messing with my truck. it almost cost me my job and marriage, the Predator U7151 Ford Gas all relies on MAF curve. you add+15 and that gets your LTFT to 0. your STFT will hover around -10 at idle but you can adjust it from there by 1 ex: +14, +13 etc. til your no more than +5 on LTFT on live data. now for acceleration i put my shift points 100 RPM below the rev limiter besides the 3-4 because my torque converter started slipping so much around 1200 Rpm range that i now stay above it for peak power. 5475\5450\5000 are mine a lot pf people will talk crap but it works for me especially with 35inch tires on 3.55 on 91 CHevron Octane which works the best in my truck . WTF???? and i still pull 1/8 pretty fast. every thing else is stock besides my cheap coil over from ebay, Now i run the AFE STAGE 2 Magnum Force, with my exhaust cut off after the Loud Mouth Muffler and of course the old school Predator U7151 with Air Raid Performance tune. thats the best tune by far. i ran a few other intakes but were not for the Ford. Spectre 9925 with 4in tube ran great with +7 on MAF got me at +3 LTFT. another great way to go is Gotts MOD (google it) it works with your factory intake plus a few tweaks. also dont mess with Spark or WOT unless you are using lower octane then tweak with the Global Spark. the idle RPM i put at 585 and drive at 600. For having 35in tires on 3.55 you enable the gear change, NOV @ 36 \\ REV PER MILE @ 590 or 585 FORD works in 5's on;y o calculator will say 593 so i set it 590 . only off 1 number after 70 MPH.

Any questions or help hit me up and you wont have to pay for it. but if i dont know then i will be direct . this is only from my experience on my truck, every truck differs.
