Mustang GT 2001 + Predator

Post by justang84 »

Hey,

I have a 2001 Mustang GT convert with the following engine mods:

K&N FIPK II
BBK 75 mm Throttle Body and Intake Plenum
Steeda Underdrives
MAC Longtube Headers/Offroad H-Pipe
Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Backs

I just ordered a predator unit from American Muscle and should take delivery later this week.

What changes beyond the included performance tune on the predator would you recommend for my set-up? i.e. timing changes ?

Thanks,

Justin

I see you have long tubes on the car. Usually in order to dial in a set of long tubes properly, you would need a custom tune. The standard performance tune will work, and provide gains, but you will be leaving something on the table. Use the dealer locator (where to buy) on our website to find the dealer(s) nearest you that can do a custom tune for your application.
I would suggest that you do not modify the timing parameters as they have already been modified in the Performance tune, and advancing too far could lead to problems.

Thanks
