I was about to purchase a Trinity but was very surprised to see it not available for the second last gen of GM trucks ie. the very popular 99/2000 to 2006 5.3L's. Since the predator appears to support it (but isn't really what I want) can I assume that the Trinity is close behind, or, is there some technicality that will prevent it? Please reply as I will not purchase anything until I get a confirmation.

If it is supported by the Predator, the Trinity is capable of supporting it as well. Sounds like DiabloSport just hasn't added support for your vehicle to the Trinity yet.

correct... no GM class 2 vehicle support yet on the Trinity... but it will be added in the near future...

In the meantime, I do plan on purchasing a cold air kit, preferably with K&N for my Yukon (2006 5.3). Do you have a list of recommended AND supported cold air kits that you have a specific tune for it and 87 octane? I want to make sure I get one that you will have a specific tune for.

no specific CAI tunes for GM vehicles.. because you can do data logging and make fueling adjustments yourself to get things dialed in...
