Breakdown of logging parameters?

Post by beefcake. »

I saw that there were a lot of parameters. I don't have any gauges, so with the new tune, i'd like to see a couple things.

Trans temp, which i think i found,

Boost - wondering if thats in there? i found a few manifold places logs, not sure if one of those is boost.

Would also like maybe injector duty to see make sure i'm okat there as well.

Anything else that would be recommend to look at?

i'm assuming there is no EGT / Pyro

Also, I get the 1211 Injector Control Module pressure to high or low, would like to log that too, just to see where it's at

it's snowy out, and roads were crowded, so i couldn't get on it a ton, but i put it in 4wd and hit it on the back stretch of the dealership.

it's cool out 15 degrees or so.

I did one little wot blast going halfway through second

trans temp was about 110 degrees

inj pressure (i guess this is where the 1211 code comes from?) was 17, i believe mpa?

i did 2 manifold pressures, one was absolute manifold pressure and the other was manifold gauge pressure

during lite throttle driving, the abs mp would stay around the low 100's and the manifold gauge pressure would stay about 10% of that roughly

140kpa/13kpa

at wot, the abs mp went to about 240kpa and the manifold gp went to 140kpa

anyone able to break the info down? to be honest, i'm not sure what i'm looking at on this thing, lol

I found a kpa to psi conversion

1 Kpa (Kilopascal) = 0.145037738 Psi (Pound Per Square Inch)

So i'm assuming the manifold pressure would be my actual boost.

144 x .145037738= 20.88 psi.

Sound about right for an 85hp tune?

Is there a way to convert in the logger to psi instead of kpa?

you can convert any gauge showing kpa to psi.

logging/create a new log/from an existing layout/choose the layout
click on the boost gauge, choose 'change display units', choose PSi, then save and rename the layout. It will now show PSI when you open it in monitoring, same goes for KPH to MPH, and a few other conversions.
