LTFT LOG 1 OR 2 OR BOTH?

Post by JDNC »

I know this probably has been covered before but I'm tired of searching.

My truck (2003 chevy Z-71 5.3L 4x4) has single exhaust and I remember something about only logging ltft only on bank 1. Can it hurt if you log both banks or do you have to use only ltft 1?

you have dual exhaust that goes into 1 pipe to exit out the back.. you have 2 banks - drivers side O2 and passenger side O2...

you need to log BOTH the LTFT Bank 1 and the LTFT bank 2...

Lew, glad to see your back! Hope you're doing well.

Ok, I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row in reference to you writing me a 93 oct tune soon. How far are you from being caught up and what data do you need from me. If you would like I'll shoot you an email with my questions.

I thought I was right with my logging both banks but was not sure. I dont't know if you remember but I was the one with the part throttle hard shifting from 1-2 recently and your suggestion to decrease the firmness 20% took care of that problem and also I turned off the TM.

Hope you well,

Do I need to log with 93 oct or can you build on my current canned 87 tune? I'll shoot you an email later.
