2011 tune on 2014 stang

I still have the dynotune that was done at Delray Beach to my 2011 5.0 on my computer. I have updated the Trinity just a few minutes ago. Everything went as it should it said download successful. When I loaded my dynotune to the T1000 it asks for original backup and it is the same calid as my 2011 mustang. Since I had my car tuned on the dyno at Delray Beach the tune I got there became my original backup. is it ok to use it when I load the dynotune into the T1000? It always asks for the original backup when I load the custom tune to the T1000. It gives me the 2011 calid when I load the dynotune or what I'm calling the custom tune. It loads fine on the T1000 except I got one error screen but somehow it loaded successfully. I'm just scared to download it to my new car, because it has a different calid from my 2014. Can you tell me if it will work or will I have to use a canned tune. The calid from the 2014 is PCM: FSFD1AA. I also have a killer tune for the Steeda CAI. Mike L sent to me me. What do I need to do to make these tunes work. I don't want to load a bad tune to my car, so I will hold off till I hear from you. Thanks, Bud Lum

I can use the T1000 on my 2014 if I use a canned tune can't I. I really would like to use my Steeda CAI and X-pipe. You guys sent Steeda tune to me a for my 2011. Can that be something that is doable for the 2014? Thanx for your time Bud Lum.

Hi Mike. Long time. I just updated everything, but I don't see the Steeda CAI on the list. I have tried the universal without much luck. Have I missed something? Thanx, Bud Lum

I hope I did this right. I have had such good luck with the 2011 and the tunes you sent me I have about forgotten what little I knew about loading and downloading files. Will the file still be on the T1000, or is it moved to my computer. If I remember right it just copies the file on the tool ,and it's still on the Trinity. I hope this is correct. I also wish I new how to update without loosing my dashes that I took a lot of time doing.Can that be done? sorry to hijack my on thread! Thanks, Bud
