Predator support for GM gas vehicles

Hello

I have a 7194 ,tried to update and now having all sorts of problems.It is currently stuck on launching app and wont do anything else.

I have tried many times to update the crom u7194-9r10.crom, I would leave the programmer unplugged from the power source ,open dsdownloader choose the right com port ( usb to rs232) load the crom and then power up the programmer.
It sometimes goes to "installing bootloader" but sometimes not it just goes through its booting up until it reaches launching apps and then gets stuck there.

But when i am able to get to installing bootloader ,dsd loads up the crom then dispalys the window showing writing packets and after done a window pops up with the following

I did not see the tool on the selected port
is the tool connected
is the serial port selection correct
is the tool powered up and waiting at the main menu screen



I have tried 2 different cable and 2 different computers with the same results.

Any advice

try loading this, let me know if it reboots properly at the end.
Dont try to use it yet if it does.

Unfortunately the exact same thing happens

It's stuck on launching app...

Is there anything else I can try ?

I dont have any other thoughts unfortunately.
Might be time to consider upgrading that device and trading it in.

Is this a software problem?

It was working fine before the update

Not much else I can offer here unfortunately.
These devices have been out of production for about 6-7 years at least, and I have no way to resolve issues on older products.
We will let you trade it in for a credit toward a new tuner if you'd like to go that route.
