I2 disable afm not working

I have a 2017 GMC Yukon with the 5.3 and I have successfully installed a tune to it, however, the only thing I want to modify is the active fuel management. When I choose the afm to be off, it still works no matter how many times I tune it. All I want is stock ecu tune with AFM disabled. Is there an update for this I am missing?

make sure your inTune i2 has all the latest updates and then try again.. it may not have the fix in it, since the i2 was discontinued a while back, and the fix for the issue came out recently...

I will try updating again. I was having an issue earlier with the i2 always saying there was an update available through Ignition. No matter how many times I updated it, there was always another update. Once I try again this evening, I will post back here my result.

there was a bug where this param was backward on 17 trucks, so try setting it to ON

That did it! Changed ‘afm/dod’ To ‘on’ and it worked. Thanks everyone!

This will be fixed in the next GM tune database thats released.

Has this bug been fixed? I'm going in today to redo mine if you have updated the software to be rid of that bug?
