Adding elec fans to 2006 1500HD

I have a 2006 1500HD 6.0 I am wanting to add elect fans to it, using the stock 05'ish OEM truck fans and use the LS1fans.com wiring harness. What steps would I need to do to accomplish this with my I2 tuner? Is it a custom tune only? I assume it is possible with my '06 HD?

Is this correct Mikel? Has Stock cooling and stock Thermostat.

yes that's them... here ya go..

download this tune to your computer.. connect the intune to your computer and let it start up..

copy the custom Fan tune file from your computer harddrive and paste it into the main i2 drive..

do not copy it into any of those subfolders! You just need to copy it to the main i2 drive.

the intune will show a message when it's been imported..

then you can go to vehicle and go to Tune Vehicle - Advanced Mode.. Custom Tunes.. select the custom Fan tune listed, and install it.

you don't have to change anything else. .your tire size setting is already in this custom tune too.

Thank you Lew! What temp did you set the fans to start at, for low and high speeds? Just so I can watch my coolant temp gauge

All other changes I had (shift firmness, speed governer etc) were copied over also? Can I modify things on that custom tune file, without messing it up? Or is it install it only and cant adjust?

any changes you had made before yourself, are still there.. they're already in the custom tune. you can modify the custom tune just like any of the preset tunes.. but as I mentioned, anything you had already adjusted before, those settings are still already in the custom tune..

no.. but it was at least 20*-30* lower than stock... somewhere around 199-205, 207-215.. something like that...
