Ok spoke to two of my mechanic friends, both said it is obvious, back off the timing and see how it runs. (One said something about how efficient these 243 heads are and that we don't need to run tons of timing.) I am not a mechanic, so that really didn't do much for me. I also found out by talking to Lew that the DS tuner works in % when dealing with spark timing. 10% is like 1 degree of timing. So I tuned -10% for 1.8K -13% up to 4K and 12% up to 7K and Injector Slope of -12, ran the car and my LTFT's were running -6.XX so we stopped and tunned the IS up to -8 and that gave my an Average LTFT, Bank 1= 0.62354 % AFR @ WOT of 12.13915 and a max KR of 2.416 but that was very few and far between and a whole bunch of 0's!! So I may have been a bit rich even though my logs don't seem to show that (maybe timing can change this??), and had a bit too much timing for my elevation/climate?? My tune as of now is IS -8 and less timing -14 up to 1.8K -14 up to 4K and -14 up to 7K, if I am reading the forum information correctly I have only retarded the timing by 1.4 degrees. I am trying to get rid of all KR and then I think I have some head room for sure in the 4K - 7K timing area. If I am dead wrong, feel free to let me know, there is some great information on this site and I think that if you really want to "fine tune" "your tune" you have to do it yourself or hope that someone like Lew is there to hold your hand and point you in the right direction as he did for me. Thanks Lew! Master of the DS tuner!
One other thing, I have a DS for my 06 GMC 5.3L truck (For well over a year now.) and I read something in a topic for the Hemi's, I did not realize it until I read it. The guy was saying he has put 500 miles on his tune and it seems to keep getting better... I found that to be true with my truck, 30 miles to relearn a tune has got to be like the bare minimum, take the time get it close and drive the crap out of it then log it to death, analize it and adjust accordingly. Diablo is not going to do it for you and everyone has a different car in a different location so they won't be the same... Some tunes just work and others you have to really work to get them there, like my truck, it was great right out of the box. I did some tranny adjustments and let it ride. Seems those Hemi guys are having the most fun..

We all have our own preferences of what we want out of our tunes. ok maybe more than one thing but I hope someone may find this helpful.
Second last thing LOL this is not cheap either I have 3 tanks of gas invested in the past 4 days... Sure beats sitting at the bar or in front of the boob tube for me...
