What problem are you having exactly? I have the same vehicle you have (except I dont have the FIPK), and the same Predator, and I don't have any problems with it.

A voltage problem? Are they trying to say you have low voltage going to the ALDL connector?

Like I told you on the phone, if you would like to send your PCM here, I will flash it on the bench with your Predator.
I am that confident that it is not a Predator issue.
The issue lies in the fact that the PCM is in YOUR truck, which is where the problem lies.
Please prove me wrong.

Where did you measure battery voltage? The Predator gets it power from the ALDL connector. If there is a voltage drop here, that would explain your voltage drop.

There is also the possibility the Predator itself was defective. Even electronics have problems. If there is a bad transistor in the unit, it could cause a problem. There are numerous electronics components in the Predator, and they are all prone to failure.

Without hearing Mike's side of the story, the best thing to have done would have been to send the Predator back to Diablosport to be checked out. Once the Predator was eliminated, then you have to admit the only variable now is your vehicle.

I have the same programmer for my 2k4 SS and have had no problems. we have sold several Predators and have had very good success. in fact that is our programmer by choice. we have done alot of research and have had several reps say why we should sell their brand, but we could not get over the fact how much you can adjust on the predator and the bang for the buck.. before you call out a maker, you need to let them get a chance to look at product before calling the kettle black.. believe me we only install on our own shop trucks what works, if we try it and it gives a problem.. it becomes product that we steer away from and tell the customer our own experience.. We refuse to sell DEE ZEE becuase of problems with product and its in our own backyard for support.. D-Town Iowa (Des Moines)
