Re: 6.2 L Listed in 2015 Catalog

I used to street race in Brooklyn back in the early 70's and I raced Modified Eliminators at Englishtown and National Speedway. No performance course needed, just track time!!

BKuz

Performance training is something anyone should take, if they track race. I know a lot of people who think they can ...

Re: Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 20

Any news on a cal ID update ("AE" version) for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT???
I really want the latest OEM factory software (many benefits) but I cannot use it because there is no Trinity cal ID update available yet.
PLEASE make it happen!!! Thank you.

Thanks
Thanks, Mike. Wouldn't this mean though that the Trinity overwrites the new factory software? I want to keep the factory software update(s) because they fix a couple of issues.

Re: Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 20

OK, it seems that the AE code has something to do with the calibration ID and not the factory software. Apparently only the AD code is supported so far by the Trinity.
Still...I cannot use the Trinity with the latest factory software update, so any ideas how to fix it without overwriting the new ...

Compatibility with new "AE" ECU software (Jeep GC SRT 2014)

Just yesterday, my (German) dealer did various software updates on my 2014 Jeep GC SRT, incl. engine, transmission, rear axle differential, heating system, etc..
After the update, he tried to install the Trinity custom tune again and yes, the Trinity has been updated to the latest software but it ...

Re: Stupid question...how does Trinity work?

Thanks again, Mike.

Dealer updated the car today and everything worked like a charm, incl. the updated Trinity software.
Dealer also showed me the software required to change all parameters and while I never understood why this software isn't available to ordinary customers, now I do understand. So ...

Re: Stupid question...how does Trinity work?

after they flash the pcm, use the trinity to reload the tune to the pcm.

its all flash based, so if they flash over the tune, you get locked out until you jump through our hoops ;)

I got this, thanks but won't the FIX implemented through the new TSB software update be deleted too if I flash the ...

Re: Stupid question...how does Trinity work?

restore the stock tune to the vehicle before you let them have the truck.

Thanks Mike but what will happen afterwards?

After they update the software with the new TSB software update?

Can the Trinity 93 oct. tune be applied again or do I need to wait for a new Trinity update?

I'm afraid you ...

Stupid question...how does Trinity work?

Why I'm asking: There seems to be a new TSB from Chrysler out there for a fix for the battery drain which seems to occur from time to time on the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2014(?). At least this is what my dealer told me yesterday.

On Saturday, I will bring him the car and he will apply a new ...

Re: Dead Battery???

Had the Trinity on my GC SRT 2014 for a couple of days and no issues, the Trinity was connected all the time and the display turned off when I turned off the engine and closed the car, only an orange light was keeping blinking.
Yesterday however, when I came to the car, the battery was dead. The ...

Re: CMR software available to end-users?

Stupid me...I was looking for the CRM software but just now realized that I cannot buy it.
I am an IT pro, have a lot of experience in software programming and with ECU mapping (not up to the professional level some of you guys may operate at though) and I would really want to try to do the custom ...

Re: Trinity and 2014 Jeep GC SRT - Performance?

No, my tuner is not Kraftwerk (are they actually a tuner or just selling tuning parts???) but someone well known in the (German) Jeep/Dodge community. I got a custom tune for my 2014 SRT, I didn't play around with the settings. The exhaust is a flap operated exhaust with TÜV(!), based on the ...

Trinity and 2014 Jeep GC SRT - Performance?

A little background info: My 2014 Jeep GC SRT is a GERMAN market car (export car).
Dealer installed a sport exhaust system (cats are still OEM), everything else is stock.
Drove over 700 km in it and the SRT Performance Gauge (in Uconnect) showed 336 kW maximum power at some points.
Fuel quality used ...
