Re: air to fuel ratio
Along that same topic, say for example your A/F ratio is 12.0:1 and you want to lean it out to 12.5:1. Would that be -5% fuel or is there a correlation between the % and the ratio?

Don't think I want to be the first.
Sounds promising for a hot tune though.

Re: E85 in 2014 LT1 or L86?
That's good news. I expected some mechanical parts would have to be different or upgraded.mikel wrote:if tuned for it, yes, it will work fine.
Have you guys tuned one for E85 yet?

E85 in 2014 LT1 or L86?
Is it possible to run 100% E85 fuel in a 2014 LT1 (C7) or L86 (truck) with only a custom tune? They are not flex fuel engines. Has it been done successfully?

Re: How much TM is removed?
Here are the shift points and speed with my 2014 Sierra Denali 4x4, 6.2 with 3.42 gears. In-Tune custom tune.
1st shift is at 6200 rpm = 42 mph
2nd shift is at 6100 rpm = 69 mph
3rd shift is at 6,000 rpm = 105 mph right at the 1/4 mile mark
that is in normal mode and traction control off.
I have ...

Re: How much TM is removed?
What I think you're feeling is the truck starting in 2nd gear. All the 6 speed GMs do that unless you're in Tow/Haul mode. Then they leave in first.
Are you sure about that? Is that stock or with a tune or both?
I'm pretty sure 2014 Sierra 6.2 starts in 1st whether in normal or tow mode. With ...

Re: update problem
Maybe I'm a little slow with a computer. But could you give step by step instructions on...load the attached update to the intune drive. I have not been able to do this. what folder does it go in?

Re: is this normal when updating?
Well not working. message says the current firmware 1r04b cannot be replaced by the firmware package within in tune 1r03y.itf.
If I try to tune I get a message of an unexpected failure and tries to write a failure report. I am unable to change any tune at this time.
Is 1r04b a later version than ...

Re: 2014 Siera/Silverado 6.2 owners - need help
UPDATE!
Zack Hill, Diablosport Calibrations, found and corrected the glitch. If you have a 2014 GM truck be sure to get this done to your tune! Especially with the 6.2. I have my shift points set at 6,200 rpm 1st - 2nd and 6,100 rpm 2nd - 3rd. Then drop 100 rpm for each gear after that ...

Re: 2014 Siera/Silverado 6.2 owners - need help
Thanks, glad it's not just mine. Diablosport is working on it. HP Tuners is able to raise the rev limit with no issues so There must be something with In-Tune that needs to be corrected.

Re: 2014 Siera/Silverado 6.2 owners - need help
I think what I am finding is adjusting the rev limit on the In-Tune really does not change the truck's actual rev limit. Stock rev limit in 1st and 2nd is 6,000 rpm. The maximum the In-tune will adjust is +/- 400 rpm. I set it at 6,400 rpm and the truck pulls hard to just over 5900 then shuts down ...

2014 Siera/Silverado 6.2 owners - need help
2014 Sierra 6.2 with Long Tube header and Diablosport In-Tune Custom tune. The stock rev limit is supposed to be 6,000 rpm. My custom tune has it moved up to 6,400 rpm. But for some reason, mine will not pull past 5900 rpm. It pulls real strong up to that point, then just completely stops pulling ...
