Aftermarket stereo that I disconnected before plugging in my tool I also disconnected my on star as well I pulled fuses and all

I finally got my intune hooked up to my truck but then another problem occurred.... it pulls up the tune vehicle menu just fine. I click on write vehicle and turn the key like to on and off positions like it request. but then it just goes straight back to the "tune vehicle" menu. I repeated steps ...

I did what you suggested and this message came on the screen
"the current firmware revision (1r04b) cannot be replaced by the firmware package within InTune-1r03y.itf

I've got an 06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD V8 8.L with and Alison trans. 4wd LT.

And the screen on the tool keeps freezing any time I press any of the buttons. I have the I-1000

is there something I can do to keep my intune from freezing every time I touch a button?? and if not is this gonna affect how it works on my truck??? im nervous about even taking the risk of hooking it to my truck! any advice or input on this
