Re: Shifting Too Hard
Thanks Mike, but Zach helped me out. I also listed this under the General inTune Forum as well.

Re: Shifting Too Hard
Thanks so much Zach. One last question, and I'll leave you alone. Is there a way to delete custom tunes from the inTune? The reason I ask is because I saved a tune as a custom tune after making changes to the shift pressure. Now that you have created this tune for me, I do not need those and do not ...

Re: Shifting Too Hard
I definitely didn't realize I had reduced it that much. 3/4 throttle is where I've experienced the roughest shifts from 1>2. Low throttle and full throttle were relatively smooth. Is it possible for you to return just the 1>2 to stock for all throttle positions while leaving all other shifts where ...

Re: Shifting Too Hard
Thanks Zach. I've attached my files, but I may have figured it out. The only place I was seeing the rough shift was from 1>2. Knowing this, I went into the adjustable parameters and backed down the shift pressure 15% on both the part throttle shift pressure and the WOT shift pressure for the 1>2 ...

Shifting Too Hard
I have a 2005 Silverado 1500, and I just bought the inTune and installed the 87 Octane Tune. I didn't make any adjustments to the parameters, but I've noticed the shifting is too 'jerky' after the tune. Before the tune, the shifting was very smooth...slow, but smooth. It does shift much quicker and ...

Re: No Backups Are Stored
That's correct. When plugged it into the 02 Silverado (the one it is currently married to), and it wouldn't let us restore the backup. We kept getting the message "no backups are stored". The weird thing that got me was that once we clicked on the Tune Vehicle, the Adjust Parameters was locked out ...

No Backups Are Stored
I'll try to keep this as simple and short as possible. I purchased an inTune Friday at a local DiabloSport authorized dealer. I brought it home and put the 87 Octane tune on my 2005 Silverado without any issues. I could definitely tell a difference, and I instantly fell in love. I liked it so much ...

Re: wont write vehicle
Good to know. Is there any harm in trying before I disconnect it? Will I mess anything up? Or will it just fail to write if it needs it be disconnected?

Re: wont write vehicle
Mikel,
I ordered my intune for my 2005 Silverado today at a local Diablosport authorized dealer, and I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I've been researching as much as I can to familiarize myself with it before picking up it. After reading the op's question, it has me wondering about my aftermarket ...
