I have windows 8 and I have tried to download data viewer and it will not let me download and install msg keeps saying open in another place I tried to delete everything but still cannot get to install any help would b great

i just bought a trinity and i am trying to download original backup and last tune written to the pc and when i click on get tune from tool it says device does not appear to have a backup or last tune what did i do wrong
