Is there a different way to update besides plugging into computer?

Was using a windows 10 computer plugged it in to a windows 7 computer and it updated but now when i plug it in to the car it says vehicle not supported.

Intune i-1000 been working fine i went to change tune on my 05 mustang gt and it said an update might be needed and if i wanted to check i clicked yes instead of no so now i get a warning "Disk Check This can take up to 30 minutes" my only option is continue which i do and the progress circle goes ...
