Reply to myself
OK I figured it out.
I had to go to "legacy connect" and select the location etc.
I got it to work.
Panic over.

Incompatable hardware BS
I tried down loading 9r18 in to my predator. I got the error "incompatible hardware' ( no serial flash found).
I tried going back and downloading the 9r12 as the instruction say but it will not down load. The preditor just sits there and tells me "incompatable hardware" and keeps the 9r18.

What does "run a log" mean?
I am not into the latest lingo. I am old I admit it. So...........
I have seen written and have been told to "run a log" when I comes to choosing which tune to use.
What is ment by this phrase?

93 octane or 91 tune for 92 gas
We only have 92 octane gas where I live. What tune will be the best for my SRT Magnum the 91 or 93 or does it matter?
I am currently using the 93/CAI Tune and it is working great. But would there be a unseen advantage/disadvantage to change to the 91?

Re: RE: Re: RE: Fans come on at 154*
Thats not the engine temperature, its the oil temperature.
To get the engine temperature you need to go into the diagnostics menus in the EVIC. Put the EVIC in compass/Temp mode, Hold down the compass and music note buttons on the steering wheel. The display will change after about 10 seconds ...

Re: RE: Fans come on at 154*
Are you looking at engine temperature or oil temperature? The regular EVIC shows the oil temp. You need to go into the "easter egg" sub menus to see the engine temp.
I do not know what "easter egg" sub menu is.
What I am looking at shows what I suppose to be a oil can with a temp symbol thingy ...

Fans come on at 154*
I have had CEL codes with my new 4127 motorad Tstat so I changed to a Jet 180* stat.
I let the car idle to check for leaks and the fans came on at 154* according to the EVIC. I have the fans set by the preditor for 183* and 193*.
Why are the fans coming on at 154*, anyone have a answer.? Bad ...

OK,
You guys must be pullin' my leg.
I lowered the fans to 184 and 192. Took it for a drive an the EVIC got up to 197 and never came down. I parked it and the fans were off (with temp of 197 should they not be running constantly untill the temp reaches 192?) then came on for 10-20 sec and went off ...

I have put ALL the fan modes incl. the MPH fan adjustments to 188 and 195. Which is down from the 219 they were at.
Still the EVIC gets to 200 and the fans when the car is in my garage, only run intermittently and both run at the same time AND I see no drop in the EVIC temp when the fans come on and ...

I have heard that the SRT8 does not run as well (HP Loss) with the t-stat lowered to 180. Is this possible that the computer does not let it till the temp gets to factory spec?
Actually I understand that it is just the opposite. The car runs better.
Why would all these people be changing out the ...

Ok,
I have put in the 180* stat and lowered the fans to 189 for low fan and 195 for high/med.
The EVIC says the temps get up to 205* outside air temp is 50*.
While I have it in park the fans are not on when the EVIC says 190 and come on about 195 and run intermittently even when the EVIC says 200 ...

High MPH fan settings
I installed the 180* Tstat last night and changed the fan settings using the Predator.
I noticed there are 2 fan setting menues. One that just says High Fan,Medium Fan and Low fan. The other reads High MPH fan setting or Low MPH fan.
What is this menu for. Should I have modified the fan setting in ...
