When I go to modify tune, change parameters, I click on manual shift 1 and apply, then go to shift firmness and apply and put in wheel and tire size then apply, reload tune, then go back in and it doesn't show anything changed and it doesn't shift firm and the manual shift isn't right. My tune with manual shift is acting weird. I put it in manual 1 or 2
and it wilk down shift on its own when coming to a stop. In manual
i dont think its supposed to do that. The manual shift doesnt seem to
save in the program. What is the issue.

I reset tcm learning and my shifting is good. Doesn't explain why my tire size was lost and firmness wasn't on.

The other day my magnum rt started shifting strange, between 4-5 it felt like the tcc was kicking in and out. Checked fluid, its fine, clean not burnt. I reloaded the tune and put in shift firmness and tires size again. Is there a chance it lost the tune somehow?? It shifts great now and pulls hard ...

Update, never updated the crom and it magically fixed itself. My cruise now works correctly and other issues went away. What is the deal?? Glad it works but how does it fix itself.

I am curious as to what would cause this as well. I have heard this happening on 2005 models only. Mine did make a smell like that but hasn't burned up yet.

Ok sounds like I have to redo it and upload the latest crom. I tried when I first got the predator and it wouldn't do it. Said couldn't read crom or something so I just did a tune without the latest crom.

2005 dodge magnum RT. Cruise is working intermittently after predator tune. Works when I go back to stock tune. I am told I need the latest crom 9r30, is that right??

Mine has done the same. I tried to update to the latest crom but it wont work.

You can update the tcm with the predator correct by downloading the updated calibration.

Any idea why this is happening. I notice when firming the shifts the traction control lights come on, then go off
After tune is done. Is cruise affected by traction control.
