The mod stock tune has no chnages and will work fine with the min octane required for the vehicle.
MPG booster and 87 tune are optimized for use with 87 octane or better fuel.
What all does the modified stock tune do, anyways?

Since the factory tunes on vehicles are preset to work with a specific octane fuel, does this hold the same for the other diablo tunes, NOT the performance tunes? I realize that, with the 91 performance tune for example, has to be used with the minimum of 91 octane. So on and so forth for the 89 ...

Hey guys, just got a quick question about plugs in a tuned motor. Normally, based on all the research I've done, the Hemis prefer the plain-Jane copper Champions and that all them fancy plugs like the Bosch platinum 4's, Splitfires, E3's, so on and so forth are just a waste of money.

I may not ever run premium in my pickup while it's brain is programmed to the MPG booster tune, since the whole idea in my opinion ...

Just curious if any octane fuel can be used with the MPG booster tune, towing tune and modified stock tune. Do these tunes even have a specific octane requirement that needs to be used, like the performance tunes do?

In other words, can I run any octane fuel with these tunes and get my money's ...

I guess I see kinda what you are saying but, what I was asking was, can I run any octane fuel on that MPG booster tune. In other words, if I were to run 89 in it, will it still back the timing off to 87 or will it run it with benefit on whatever grade of fuel I put in?

So again, unlike the factory tune that retards the timing and all in the presence of hotter fuel so that everything stays the same as it was programmed to do so from the factory, will the MPG booster tune do this as well or will it let the computer adjust to and run accordingly to higher octane ...

Oh ok, so there won't be no adverse effect similar to that of running higher octane in a stock vehicle? I kinda figured that was the case but since this isnt factory tune were talkin about, i wanted to make sure....lol.

I currently have 91 in the tank, running the 91 performance tune. Since gas is startin to get a little more expensive, I think I'd like to retune for 87, but I don't want to wait till my current tank is empty...lol. Don't quote me on this, it may be down to half tank but I don't remember.
