Re: Re-Tune after unit update
If I have had a tune installed for a year or so is it necessary to re-tune after I update my tuner?
Thanks
CMC
My DIC MPG is 2 mpg off from hand calc and Monte stated that it takes a while for things to sort out after a tune is applied. So hearing that you don’t have to re-apply a tune after an ...

Re: MPG on DIC
yes.. it can take a while for that to be correct again, as a lot of things get reset whenever a tune is installed (or when battery is disconnected)
Well son-a-mun-gun! I keep my intune as up to date as possible as such I’ll reflash to stock then re-tune after every update. So it looks like I’m ...

MPG on DIC
Does applying a tune change your Driver Information Center mileage accuracy? Mine seems to be 2 MPG off from hand calc. I would take the tune off and give it a look see but I love having it off too much.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Ignition Updater
Interesting.
I had no idea this was available until I tried to update my I2 and found the link to the new installer/updater.
I installed ignition and ran through the new updates. After rebooting / re-connecting to ignition you get the "Your device has been updated" Along with some links to add ...

Trade-in Trade-up
Does Diablosport still have the trade-in / up program? I couldn't find it on the website. Of course I am a man and looked only where I thought it should be so....

Re: PCM_UNKNOWN
Thank you for the update. Worked like a charm.
Quick question ~ Is there any reason why it needed the update? Did the dealer replace my TCM / ECM?

PCM_UNKNOWN
Went in for my oil / tire rotation and an update for intellilink. I let them know the trans is still acting up so they performed a transmission control module reprogram with SPS. Now I get the PCM_UNKNOWN when trying to program. Attached is the PCM_UNKNOWN file. Do you need anything else from me ...

Re: 8 Speed Transmission
Thank you for giving us the ability to touch the TCM. Long time coming but worth the wait.
Now that the pleasantries are out of the way :P I have a couple of questions.
If GMC ever comes out with another TCM fix will we still be able to re-tune?
Are there specific recommendations for those of us ...

Re: 8 Speed Transmission
Yes! I love seeing the progress and am looking forward to the update.
That "promise date" comment was hilarious though. I have customers that issue the same question not knowing what goes on in the background. Not knowing that as cool as i look above the water I'm paddling like hell underneath ...
