Personaly, I do a free air calibration before every tune adjustment. The problem I had is that without the engine running, the trinity kept giving mw a data stream errer and put me back to the main screen . . .
I was able to see the voltages for a few seconds though to allow me to get it close.

RE: Observations: Innovate LC-1, XD-16 gauge and Trinity
This is a big help! I have all grounds soldered to the same point but noticed the readings were off by approximately .4 (rich).
Thanks for the help . . .

LC-1 Scale in DV Min 0 Max 0
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this (maybe in the Data Viewer?)
I've been surching for a couple days and I've actualy seen pics of other screens showing the wideband looking correct in DV but my logs all show Min 0 and Max 0 for the wideband. If I put my cursor on the screen it ...

RE: Bets Tune for me
If you run 93 octane gas then use the 93 CAI tune, if you use 91 (which Californians are limited too) use the 91 CAI tune. I wouldn't mess with the fuel unless yu have a widebank A/F gauge to see what you're WOT mixture is actualy at. You could go have a shop dyno the car but you'll have to have ...

Question:
Does your A/F get rich in every gear around 4000 rpm? Mine hits 4000 in 3rd gear and gets pig rich. It hits the cat overtemp and adds fuel to cool the cats. A tuner can raise the threshold if that is the problem . . .

RE: Understanding Long Term Knock Retard
Nobody can answer this?
I can assume from my log that knock retard is not directly related to the voltage from the knock sensor . . . Maybe I should look at the voltage range during knock retard??

Understanding Long Term Knock Retard
Did some datalogging to send out for an email CMR tune yesterday and noticed something that I'm hoping someone can explain. Before we get too far I'll just say I have an 06 Charger SRT8 with a CAI and cat-back exhaust, and a Spartan MAX cam. There is a baseline CMR tune in the PCM now also ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Data Logging & Knock Retard
Last night I pulled the throttle body and looked inside and there was a nice puddle of oil. I've only driven about 20 miles after changing the hoses so I haven't given it enough time to see if the catch can is doing anything but I did have my wife reach inside the manifold with a rag to soak up the ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Data Logging & Knock Retard
This appears to be a cheap one and if the new hoses and connectors don't improve the performance, I'll get a Billet Tech. If the performance does improve, I'll pull the manifold in a couple weeks and clean it up a bit. Sould I get the gaskets from Dodge or is there a better alternative???

Re: RE: Re: RE: Data Logging & Knock Retard
I bought the SRT8 used and the catch can was already installed. I never really looked at it close (until today). The hoses were backwards but the biggest problem is the fittings not being the right size for the hoses. They are seep/leaking oil now. I've had the car for over a year and do my own oil ...
