Re: Ignition Updates I2 Everytime I Run It/Wifi Never Enable

Can somebody help me here?? This was first reported almost a month ago and it still doesn't work.

This is not an isolated case; there are at least two more threads here that describe the same problem:

Re: Ignition Updates I2 Everytime I Run It/Wifi Never Enable

I'm having a very difficult time trying to agree that "its not an issue ":
1. You have told several of us that our unit is not up-to-date after doing multiple updates.
2. It doesn't just affect one unit, but multiple units.
3. Diablo was notified of this problem back in April and it's still doesn't ...

Re: having issues updating I2

This problem appears awful similar to a problem in thread
https://forum.diablosport.com/viewtopic ... 63&t=64634
This problem was reported via email April 27. Sure would be nice to be able to update our devices.

PLEASE

Re: Ignition Updates I2 Everytime I Run It/Wifi Never Enable

Hi Mike,

I tried it again for 4 'updates', same thing. I tried the i2 in the truck; didn't do any tuning, but device connected and gave options for tuning.

I wanted to try it on my Windows 10 computer (I've been using Windows 7), but you must have removed the 'ignition' download file from your ...

Re: Ignition Updates I2 Everytime I Run It/Wifi Never Enable

Well, Mike, I uninstalled 'Ignition' from my Windows 7, cleaned out the registry (anything relating to the software), downloaded 'Ignition', installed, re-signed into my account, updated i2 ... updated i2 .... updated i2 ... same crap! Sure would appreciate some help here!

Re: Ignition Updates I2 Everytime I Run It/Wifi Never Enable

Mike, can we please get an answer on this.

Same thing today: had a 6-file update available, updated, unplugged i2 ---- plugged in i2, checked for updates, 1-file update available, updated, unplugged i2 --- plugged in i2, checked for updates, 1-file update available, updated, unplugged i2 --- and ...

Same problem. Sent email to Customer Service, they said unit was up to date. No reason given as to why, or what is the correction action. info.xml file attached.

Yes. So how do I fix it?
Read that link shown above. It has a step-by-step procedure on how to handle the antivirus problem. If your antivirus has already removed the file, you'll have to retrieve it from the antivirus quarantine.

Re: 2015 Ram Updater

So, when I go to update the i2, the PDF file says open the "inTuneUpdater2.exe"

Problem is, it is not on there as an option, only the "inTuneUpdater2.exe.config" which it says not to open

There is only the wrong file on My updater.

Help.....

Re: steep grade, towing, won't downshift into 2nd

The 2010 Chevy 1500 Owner's Manual says "an overheat protection mode which alternates firing groups of cylinders helps prevent engine damage. In this mode, you will notice a loss in power and engine performance." Just throwing that out there.

Are you using the 'Tow' mode, 'Manual' mode, both, or ...

Re: update.exe self removes

I open update and i see the .exe file. Then it either goes away or when I click to op it says file cant be found then it dissappears.
If you're using Avast antivirus with default settings, it will remove (quarantine) the 'InTuneUpdater2.exe' file. See:

Re: New Update for I2

This sounds more like a 'permissions/ownership" issue with Windows than it does an I2 problem. What version Windows are you running? Have you recently upgraded to a newer version of Windows (like free Windows 10)? What is the exact message you get? Does this occur when trying to run the ...
