RE: More rear O2 Sensor problems...
Just an update for those who are interested. Do NOT use Bosch O2 sensors, at least on a 2003 Cobra. As soon as I replaced the front one with Ford OEM, problem went away and haven't seen the error in a couple of months. Ford OEM are over twice as expensive, but they work and no error code!

RE: Octane Boosting Additives - any advice?
Thanks. I bought some Turbo 108 octane booster and will try that. Can't hurt anything I guess. I wanted to boost the octane and use the 93 pulley tune, but I think I'm going to invest in a dyno tune and see how that goes.

Octane Boosting Additives - any advice?
In our town, no one has 93 octane. 92 is rare, 91 is common. I'm using the 91 Pulley Tune, but would like to use the 93 before I end up with a custom dyno tune. But I'm concerned about octane. I've read there is a Turbo108 Octane Booster and also a Turbo 108 Facing Fuel Concentrate that can be added ...

RE: 2003 Cobra Revert Firmware to turn off rear O2 Sensors?
Yes I too am concerned. At first I believe it was because the leaks in the newly-installed Bassani X-Pipe and cat-back were spot-welded and messed them up and so I bought four new ones, all Bosch and all the same sensor. Then I've heard that you should not use Bosch and stick with Ford OEM, so that ...

2003 Cobra Revert Firmware to turn off rear O2 Sensors?
Man, I'm going through O2 sensors like toilet paper. I've checked and there are no leaks. I've reseated the ECU also. I bought Bosch sensors and they lasted about 2 weeks. Going back to Ford OEM next. BUT, I want to replace the front sensors and turn off the back, but the firmware update took away ...

Traction Control Parameter with Asterisk for 2003 Cobra
I updated my Predator with the recent firmware upgrade. My traction control parameter has an asterisk in front of it and I can't seem to change it. On the old program, I could turn off traction control all the time instead of having to hit the button each time. Now I can't seem to do that. Can you ...

RE: More rear O2 Sensor problems...
Ok, I replaced both front sensors. Worked great for a few weeks, although I didn't drive it much. This week took a 180 mile trip and it did fine. Went to come home this morning, started the car, and the same code is now appearing again! Yuck. I have not gone under the car to check for melted wires ...

RE: More rear O2 Sensor problems...
Ok, off to get a new sensor. Minor question. P0153 says 02 Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2, Sensor 1). Any idea if that is the front sensor on the driver side or the passenger side? Thanks.

RE: More rear O2 Sensor problems...
Ok, sounds good. Quick question though... since I will turn off the rear sensors and they appear to be working, can I simply swap the rears to the front and front to the rear and then turn off the rears, or are they different parts?

More rear O2 Sensor problems...
Me again. I'm sure loving this car with the tuner! I have Bassani X-pipe with Cats and Cat-back. Had a couple of exhaust leaks at the seams, so had a shop spot weld them up to remove the leaks. Seems every time I go for a "joy ride" I trip the damn Service Engine Soon light. Trouble code of P0153 ...

RE: Re: RE: 2003 Cobra - Idle slow to return to normal
Just wanted to say thanks! I bought a plate off ebay and installed it in like 3 minutes and it did the trick. Simply amazing that such a minor, quick adjustment like an IAC restrictor plate did exactly what you said it would do. Again, thanks!

2003 Cobra - Idle slow to return to normal
I have a 2003 Cobra with C&L inlet pipe/K&N/95 MAF, and Bassani cat-back and X-pipe (with cats). I installed the performance tune and use 91 octane premium. It runs fine but the idle is slow to return. It will eventually return to around 750, but it's slow to drop. First just over 1000 and then ...
