predator v 8r10 and data viewer 3.3

Data view connects to my predator, but dosent get past the aquiring tool remote control screen? Any ideas

i purchased off another site a predator tuner for my 99 lighting. it was at 8r9 updated it to the current firm ware and now its stuck on the hour glass for 20 min now ? any ideas whats going on?
