I installed it on my 2015 Silverado. The shifts are firmer. I haven't had time to play with the shift points yet.

There is a TSB for hard down shift to 1st gear. If your truck in still under warranty take in to dealer and complain about hash 1st gear down shifts. That should get you the current TCM firmware.

I may have an answer. Some of the trucks have a valet mode and/or a teen driver mode. If you have either of these options, the speed limiter is controlled by the BCM, not the ECM. I did too. There is a setting in the ECM for the speed limiter to be controlled by the ECM or Other Mod. This has to do with valet mode. If it set to other mod the speed limit number in the ECM does nothing as it controlled by the PCM. Unless the i2 changes the other mod to ECM you can't change the ...
