Re: Real Life MPG improvement? Post em!
I dropped from an average of 16.1 to about 14.7 with the 87 tune. Only thing I have changed is the tire diameter as I have a taller tire than stock and I have DOD off. For 2 years I got consistently 16.1 with the factory tune with DOD off and tire size change. I am probably going back to modified ...

Re: Long Term Fuel Trim
I fixed this myself as well. Apparently now the i2 has 2 sets of LTFT I have to select when I log. One seems stuck and the others respond.

Long Term Fuel Trim
I have been doing some logs and for some reason my LTFT is stuck at 1. It doesn't change dependent on speed or engine rpm or engine load. I have PO2270 and PO2272 showing bank 1 and 2 lean. So I was trying to see how lean I was running. Does this sound like bad O2 sensors? I tried to log some of the ...

i2 last update
I recently updated my i2 and now some things are out of order. For instance the fan temperatures use to go from lower to higher temps. Now it is the attached pics.

Re: 87 tune spark knock
I ran the truck for about 500 miles since I fixed all my mechanical issues. I did a few logs and it looks like my LTFT Bank 1 is at 9 at about 1800ish rpm and the LTFT Bank 2 is at 8. This is about 65 miles per hour I believe. I haven't had a chance to hold it at that speed very long due to traffic ...

Re: Dataviewer issues
This is the program I downloaded. Does this still work? I tried it on 2 different pc's running Windows 10. I even tried it in compatibility mode. I know this worked in the past.

Re: Dataviewer issues
No. The Data Viewer is what I downloaded. Not the spot on the page. I didn't even pay attention to that.

Re: 87 tune spark knock
So. I decided to pull my engine apart. I had a little oil consumption issues and I had some valvetrain ticking that had started right after the spark knocking began. I had a few of the springs on the AFM lifters that were collapsed and the rear intake bolts were not tight at all. I pulled the engine ...

Re: 87 tune spark knock
Knock sensors replaced. No change. I have a 99 Sierra that I have the Predator programmer on. I followed a guide on setting the fuel under WOT and while cruising down the highway. I have never had an issue with it. I can buy gas from anywhere in town and it has little if any spark knock. I use the ...

Re: 87 tune spark knock
It has a little knock with the stock tune. Not near as much as with the 87 tune. I will check the knock sensors. Hopefully that is it. Thanks for the info. I will report back when I have the time to do this.
