I have a Dodge Challenger RT with a stock idle of 750 rpm. I used a diablo tuner to raise it to 1,200 rpm. It made the car more difficult to stop in stop and go traffic, so I lowered it back to stock idle rpm.
Does raising idle rpm make the car faster from a stop or was it all psychological?

Re: RPM problem in Park and Neutral after tuning vehicle
I restored the factory tune and made my way back up to the 93 tune with MDS turned off and found that the culprit is raising the rev limiter in neutral. Odd imo.

RPM problem in Park and Neutral after tuning vehicle
I raised idle rpm by 400 for Park/Neutral and Drive and I noticed the engine could not maintain a steady rpm in Park/Neutral. Not only that, I also found I cannot rev the engine in neutral or park!
So I changed the Park/Neutral rpm back to stock, but I am still having this problem. The rpm varies ...

I found a convoluted workaround to this issue, modify tune in tune vehicle menu and attempt to change traction control. It won't change, but after the error message I get redirected to the menu with all of the options.

15 Challenger RT missing parameters and errors (pics)
The first thing I did was update the the product online through the computer. Then I successfully tuned to 93 octane fuel with the speed limiter removed, which I am happy with. Diablo unlocked my PCM.
However, when it came to adjusting the tune and modifying parameters most of the options seem to ...
