Try turning off the Grade Braking and see if it makes a difference. Some guys have said that it helps with the clunky shifts. To disable the grade braking, hold in the tow/haul button for 5 seconds and release it. A message will pop up in the display to tell you it is disabled. You'll need to do it ...

The AFM setting is in the adjustable parameters under DOD (displacement on demand). At least that's where it is with my InTune I1000.

Thank you Mike. Any idea when the update will be ready? I'm anxious to tune my truck and see if the drivability improves. This truck drives like crap compared to my '08 Silverado.

2016 Silverado 6 spd "TCM update"?
I have a 2016 Silverado 5.3L 6 spd and when I plug in my InTune it says the TCM needs an update. I hooked the tuner to the computer and let it do the latest updates last week. The tuner was on my '08 5.3L 4 spd and it worked fine. I restored the stock tune to the '08 before trying the '16. I let the ...
