That explains it. I have a i2 but I always keep a copy of the ".drg" tune files on my computer as a backup copy ... just in case.

Re: Uconnect update
Uconnect updates will not affect the tune or PCM ... just as PCM updates will not affect the Uconnect. They are separate modules with separate software and are updated independently from each other. I have had multiple PCM updates and Uconnect updates and none of the updates affected the other ...

Re: No codes - but Catalyst & 02 not ready for emissions
I have restored the factory backup tune to my car multiple times (for dealership service) and the custom tune was always available afterwards (not deleted). I don't have any idea why your custom tune was deleted. My factory backup file is 77KB and the custom tune is 71KB. Not exact same size but ...

Re: No codes - but Catalyst & 02 not ready for emissions
Strange that the custom tune was deleted when you restored the factory (backup) tune. If you go to the Advanced Tune menu the custom tune should be listed (assuming the custom tune was loaded from your device & not a different device ... or the previous owner didn't delete the custom tune from your ...

Re: Help with Vortech supercharger set up map
Standard Speed Density Table mapping for the Hemi (naturally aspirated) will not work with forced induction. You need a custom tune for the supercharger. You can get a email custom tune (e.g. HemiFever Tuning) or take the car to a dyno shop that is experienced with tuning supercharged Hemi enignes ...

Re: CMR tuner list
The Diablo site has a dealer locator. You can search by area code and filter by CMR tuner.
https://www.diablosport.com/dealer-locator/
Unfortunately it does not identify the internet tuners (custom tunes via email). The one I use is HemiFever Tuning.

I'm not sure about a TCM only tune but you can contact Sean Powell at HemiFever Tuning and ask him.

Re: knk LT and ST Retard high
The DTC is for knock sensor #1. There's two knock sensors (one for each cylinder bank). Each sensor is bolted to the outside of the cylinder block ... below the exhaust manifold. The KR numbers in the data log are high but they're not very reliable with a faulty knock sensor.

Re: Chrysler Intune2 Diablo sport custom tune
I would not do it yourself. A custom tune requires the CMR software and experience. I would use the services of one of the email custom tuners. You use the i2 for data logging and email the log file to the tuner. The tuner creates a custom tune and emails the file to you. You download the file to ...

The 180º thermostat kit sometimes includes the recommended fan settings. I guess it depends on the supplier. The 180º thermostat for my 5.7L Hemi, purchased from HHP (High Horse Performance), included the following recommendations:

Any limit on the number of PCM updates?
I have a 2012 Dodge Charger R/T (5.7L). I have done several successful PCM updates (i.e. restoring stock tune for service, reinstalling custom tunes, etc ...). Over time I have reflashed the PCM multiple times. Is there a limit to the number of times the PCM can be reflashed?
Thanks.

Re: i2 updates
I'm a little confused with the naming of the Ignition updates. For example the "Diablo i2 i3 (r7)" update has "i2" in the label. Shouldn't the update label just be "Diablo i3 (r7)" if there's no i2 content in the update? I'm inclined to update my i2 if the update label has "i2" in it. I would ignore ...

Re: The dreaded "Please Wait"
Even though the latest Ignition update was labeled "Diablo i2 i3 (r7)", there's no new files for the i2 and I can ignore them?

Re: The dreaded "Please Wait"
Mike,
Using Ignition, I installed the "Diablo i2 i3 (r6)" update, and afterwards when I attempted data logging, the Data Logging menu was stuck on the "Please Wait" message. I reinstalled the "Vehicle-2t02af.itf" file and the Data Logging menu worked as normal again.

Re: The dreaded "Please Wait"
Mike,
I loaded this update to my device (inTune i2) and was able to access the Data Logging menu. I selected the "restore default pid" option and collected a couple of logs. The logs appear to be correct when I view them in Data Viewer.
Success
Thanks.
