I tuned my 2002 Silverado 2500 HD with the 87 octane and the shift is extremely soft, like shuddering between shifts soft. It is the Allison trans and shifts fine with the stock tune.

I've also got the weird sudden acceleration syndrome I've read about with the 8.1L. Mine occurs when letting off ...
