Check the plug coming from the Puck going to the MAP sensor. The pins can pull out pretty easy and would cause these problems. If you look at the plug from the back side(female end) the rubber insert may be sticking out. Just push the wires in to re-seat them and clear the codes and start er up ...

I only have the puck and notice the cruise control thing, I notice it most on flat level highway cruising at 65, I just switch it to stock.

according to the "features" page the 03-07 puck has 3-position "shift on the fly"....
