Re: Brakes..of all things. Hill start assist issue.

So, I disconnected the PCM for a few minutes on level ground. It didn't solve the problem immediately, but it's gone away now. In other words, I took it for a test drive and it was still doing 'it', but I didn't have time for any other frigging around at the time. Before I got a chance to get back ...

Brakes..of all things. Hill start assist issue.

So, I was hoping to post about a problem I'd solved, but it's a lazy day and I spent 2 hours on the snowblower already, so I haven't got out to the truck yet.

I recently installed the i2 on my 2015 RAM 1500 Hemi. Installed the mpg tune (I put on close to 30,000 miles/year) and all is good.... but ...

Re: Error moving file...no space left on device

Success

FFS I hate Mac. No way to see hidden files, so back to the Win10 machine, where they become visible, and lo, the files I deleted are somehow lingering in a hidden directory. POS.

Anyway, delete delete delete, re-run uploader and all seems fine.

Next, find a warm(ish) day to install the ...

Re: Error moving file...no space left on device

Not to the best of my knowledge. I've only opened it and deleted the two files.

group_update_reboot.itfg
group_update.itfg

Leaves:

info.xml
<dir> logs
<dir> runtime
<dir> tunes
<dir> Updater

Interestingly when I try and copy the two files I deleted back onto the drive it says it's out of space ...

Re: Error moving file...no space left on device

Progress report...no progress to report:

Tried on a Win10 machine.

Update downloads and begins to copy but then fails.

"IO operation will not work. Most likely the file will become too long or the handle was not opened to support synchronous IO operations"

The i2 then briefly disconnects from ...

Re: looping

I had the same problem yesterday. Found another post where the advice was to delete the group_updater.itfg file that should be found in the root directory of the i2 (if not, I have no suggestion). From there, I got stuck on the next problem. ... insufficient memory...(solved, see other post) we'll ...

Error moving file...no space left on device

Got the i2 updater working finally after a tip somewhere else to delete the native group_updater file - thanks.

Now when the latest update downloads using the updater I get:

"Error moving file group_update.itfg to device: No space left on device".

The device info from OS says there is 104.6 MB ...
