Ignition installer question
I installed the ignition installer and now when I try to update the i2 there's no longer a "update" under the updater file, there is only the ignition installer. Is this correct? How do I update the device?

Reading codes
I own 5 cars and have purchased licenses for 2. Can I use the tuner to pull codes from a car that I do not have a license for? It's a 13 Fusion Energi.

Thanks, I'll do that when I get ready to spend more money on this beast.mikel wrote:The longtubes will require a custom tune from one of our cmr tuners to dial it in, Id suggest checking with 5star tuning for a good cusotm tune source.
Thanks

Re: Ford powered motorhome
Long tube headers, full free flow exhaust, ram intake. They have their own tuner..maybe SCT, I was hoping that if I go this route I can use the inTune rather than buying theirs.mikel wrote:What does the power pack consist of?

Re: Ford powered motorhome
OK, 1st 100 miles......
Better throttle response, slightly, the beast is pretty heavy. I did climb a hill that I regularly climb with it and it seems to power up it a little better.
Tranny shift points are better. I adjusted beyond what the canned tune had set.

Re: Ford powered motorhome
V10 tunes from Ford are VERY lazy and have a huge PE delay where they dont actually start making power until you are WOT for several seconds, loading the tune gets rid of that and allows for full power when needed, and also adds 20 rwhp or so on 87 octane.
Thanks

Re: Ford powered motorhome
Looking to decide if purchasing a license will be worthwhile. It's provided a great change on my 14 Silverado.
What parameters will the inTune be able to improve on this rig? PCM and TCM?
Can I expect a noticeable change in performance from the throttle and Tranny?

2nd impression:
With a little over 100 miles on the tune, the truck has really smoothed out. The combo of a little more power with improved throttle response and a transmission that is operating much more efficiently has me very pleased and wishing I'd done this much sooner!

1st Impression
Just tuned my 14 Silverado for the first time with the inTune and drove it 15 miles.
I am most interested in improving the drivability of the truck. I have never been happy with the transmission. I live in a hilly/mountainous area and whenever climbing the mountain to get home, the tranny always ...
