Thanks for the quick reply! Sounds good. It does run good on the E15 and I still get decent MPG.

Re: E85 custom tune

yeah, I don't do anything for e85...

Do you do any tunes for E15? It is a 88 octane and the price is only $1.92 right now. I have your custom 87/89 Tune and your 91/93 Tune. I wasnt sure if there were any gains to get from the E15 or if it's treated like normal octane.

Your 87/89 Tune runs quite ...

Re: Intune i3 for 2014 Chevrolet silverado 5.3 newby

Great!. I was hoping it would be that simple. I am a master carpenter and pretty good at what I do but I know very,...very little about motors and how to tune them. That's why I chose the Diablo tuner because of the preset tunes. I just wanted to add a bit more power and turn the AFM off on the ...

Re: E85 daily driver 2015 Sierra

I went with the Lewtune and have not regretted it one bit! So much better than the stock tunes,

I had him enable the AFM and I'm getting 20.2Mph average with a high if 22-23 on my daily trips to work. 37 miles one way. So happy with the results.

Pulled a 5x8 Uhaul trailer across country with a ...

Re: 2015 GMC Sierra 5.3 4x4 E85 Tune

I can certainly confirm the LewTunes are worth it! I run 95% E85 every day and having the flexibility to switch to 89 or 93 based on which LewTune I have loaded is great. I dont loose much performance gains by going to regular fuel. Plus he saved my hide when I had my tuner replaced under warranty ...

Re: i2030 taking over an hour to boot

So I tried it again after letting it set for a long time. Back to stuck on the logo. Support has replied since then so once it finally boots I will send them the xml file.

Re: i2030 taking over an hour to boot

Well color me purple. Now it boots in 30 seconds. I just did it 4 times in a row. Was it doing some kind of update maybe? I know I did a update after the first really long boot and that could cause a long delay.

Now I'm nervous to try and tune the truck with it. If it dies in the middle of a tune ...

Re: i2030 taking over an hour to boot

I noticed when you first plug it in the screen flashes white for a second than to the i2 logo. I dont recall seeing it flash white like that before.

i2030 taking over an hour to boot

I tried to apply a tune and the device never got past the i2 logo. I plugged it into my computer and came back an hour later and it was working. I installed the latest updates and it restarted. It's been about 40 minutes and its still on the logo.

I tried to login to the site to get support and my ...

Re: E85 HP gains

Went with the LewTune and it is amazing. Way better than the stock tunes, He doesn't tune for E85 but the factory gains still work and the shfting in his tune is a perfect match for the E85.

I run 89 octane now and it runs fantastic. above 20Mpg consistently on my 37 mile trips to work.

Re: E85 daily driver 2015 Sierra

I switched to E85 on the 87 Tune and it runs pretty great. It does appear to work better tuning with regular fuel in the tank then switching to E85. The only complaint is the slow downshift when giving it gas.

With the stock E85 tune the downshifts are super quick and responsive. What shifting ...

I'll leave the 87 Tune in and switch to E85 on the next fill up and see how it goes. The shifting in the 87 feels better than the Diablo Tune so I'll stick with that for now.

Thanks!

Re: E85 HP gains

everything we tested showed big gains with E85, but it matters if its actually E85, lots of local places that have been tested are as low as E50, so that could be the issue.

I would think that if the fuel was only E50 the truck's standard tune wouldnt perform well either. It runs like a beast ...

Re: 87 tune included parameters...

One more thing I can't seem to remedy, WOT from a standing start with traction control and torque management off. It spins the tires, obviously, but at the 1-2 shift it just falls on its face. Like it pulls all the power out of it at the shift for a second then pours it back on after the shift. Is ...
