mike: QUIT ADDING TO THE CONFUSION WITH FACTS AND PHYSICS..... LOL
I just put four tornados in series in my truck and i'm getting 65 mpg.
Above is actual proof. Why don't car manufacturers install tornadoes?
But seriously, running slightly lean at cruise (maybe 15.2:1) should in theory ...

RE: Using u7193 to adjust for running Hydrogen/Hydroxy (HHO)
What about those EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) devices which are suppose to allow you to lean out the engine by changing the output voltage of the O2 sensor (supposedly the PCM sees normal values, but you are really running lean)? I understand that O2 works best at 14.7:1, but would ...

Sure doesn't
. Anyone try skewing O2 output?

RE: Adjusting Injector Slope (LTFT) For Highway Fuel Economy
Was the same question, sorry. Here is another one. Is it possible to make the PCM go slightly lean when cruising with the possible adjustments using the predator? Would a custom tune be overly complicated?

RE: Adjusting Injector Slope (LTFT) For Highway Fuel Economy
From what I understand, IS is a constant factor in the fuel delivery equation while LTFT is variable. Won't LTFT change to the "needed" value once the vehicle has been driven for a while to correct for the wrong IS value and so it would not really make a big difference if IS is correct?

RE: Adjusting Injector Slope (LTFT) For Highway Fuel Economy
So what is the point in adjusting the injector slope if I keep the stock injectors?

Adjusting Injector Slope (LTFT) For Highway Fuel Economy
Hello,
The tutorial states to adjust the injector slope so that LTFT is within the -2 to 0 range. At approximately what AF ratio does this make the car run at part open throttle (cruising)? Can it be checked with U7193 (9r01)? As a slightly rich mixture is for maximum power and slightly lean for ...

The website states the 87 tune is available for trucks. I am sure that a custom 87 tune can be installed.

I purchased the car from a small local dealership (all makes), I am sure that they did not flash the ECU. Thanks.

RE: Stock tune really stock?
I bought a used vehicle from a dealer and want to use the Predator. Is there any way to check if the current tune on the vehicle is stock (I have not used any programmer on this vehicle yet)? Thanks.

Stock tune really stock?
Hello,
Without going to the dealer to have the ECU re-flashed, is it possible to check if the stock tune on the car (GM truck) is really stock? All I have is U7193 and can connect it to a PC. Thanks.

RE: electric fan pin 33 and 42
For anyone else who is interested the answer can be found here:
http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=45645&st=0&gopid=531884&#entry531884
In summary, pin 42 is used to turn on fans on low speed and 33 on high. Works similar to the B-body setup except fans have two speeds.
