RE: Uh Oh. Change to tune failed now car dead.
This may sound strange, but disconnect the battery for 5-10 minutes then reconnect and see if the car starts. I was switching between tunes, restored original backup (stock), then went and tried to install the performance tune and got hung up. The issue was caused because I did not start the car ...

RE: U7191 TCM Update delayed?
Mike,
Thank you for the quick response. I understand and have read the other threads. Sorry if this one caused any additional pain.
I will say here for all to read that I understand support staff can only report what they are told. It indeed puts you and you’re co-workers in a bad position ...

U7191 TCM Update delayed?
Good morning,
I wanted to have someone preferably Mike, confirm that the TCM updates for 06 LS4 cars have been postponed until next year.
Please be as direct and specific as possible with the response.
If this is indeed the case how do I get my money back? I've owned it for about a year while ...

No. When you restore the original backup it unlocks the tool just like it was new.

The standard response you will likely get is to be patient, or we’re working on it, and it will be worth it.
No doubt it will be worth it when it comes, the question is when. It has been promised since last fall. Other priorities have also been a response. Yet the pages that describe the U7191 say ...

I didn't choose just a few before, but I may have just used the short list. I'll try the short list next time and see if that makes a difference.[/quote]
It may be a pain to scroll through but it's worth it. I've had mixed results with the short list also.
Good luck.

RE: Problem with Data viewer
Choose just the few parameters you want to log from the list. If you select the whole list you will have poor sampling rates and crash the viewer.
Good luck.
