This post and the one or two later are mentioned two tuners, who are told to do it without modifying the tcm-hardware.

It seems that it is tunable without modifying it.
According to the information on the gm-trucks forum, there are at least two tuners, how are able to do it. Perhaps you can check it again?

After calling your support line, I sent the I3 back for warranty exchange.

If it is connected to the computer (after it gets stuck after updating with ignition), it connects as a drive and disconnects again,.... and again connects and disconnects.... till you delete the update file manually.
After deleting the update file, it stays connected as a ...

Same here. It also gets stuck with the same screen.

Problem is not solved.

I am now in contact by e-mail with the support. Till now, no solution found.
