What kind of power gains can we see with this tune? Will it work with any CAI?

I just received my I3 for my 2018 silverado 1500 5.3l, tried to tune my truck and and its telling me the tuner needs an update and to connect it to ignition. When I do that I just receive the page telling me to add a license or to add an extended warranty. What gives? when I purchased the tuner it ...
