Re: RE: Wideband placement, LS3 corvette
Yeah, that will not work
The PCM is looking for the signal from the front O2 sensor to determine part throttle fueling.
You will dump the mileage to all hell as well...
Thanks
no, no, i know that... i mean just for WOT tuning, i.e. i'll remove the driver's side sensor (seems to run the leanest ...

Wideband placement, LS3 corvette
Can I remove the driver's side primary O2 sensor and place my wideband there to get PE fuelling or will the missing O2 screw up the trims and ultimately screw up WOT fuelling?

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Adjusting injector slope and effects on
I tried several PE adjustments and WOT they all log the same AFR's so either it's not working or the AFR equivalence readings aren't worth a crap

RE: LS3 Predator Tune - Code P2066 now...
yeah if you enter the tune parameters after a flash you'll get that code and the fuel gauge will not work, you can clear the code and the fuel gauge will work again however the fuel computer will not (0mpg when stopped / 70mpg when moving no matter what), i let mike know about it and hopefully they ...

RE: Re: RE: Adjusting injector slope and effects on WOT fuel
ok, wanted to be clear on that, i was making slope changes without PE changes and monte regarding our trim discussion, weather changed drastically from when i had sent you those WOT logs and my trims WERE 8% positive when it was still hot friday, however now they're 3 and 4% negative with a -8 ...

Re: RE: Adjusting injector slope and effects on WOT fuelling
why is everyone changing their slopes then? so what if you get close to 0% LTFT if it's in turn affected your WOT fuelling, or if they pull say 5% for LTFT do they also pull 5% from the PE fuelling?sohfast94 wrote:That's what I would do. The injector slope affects "All Fueling" not just WOT.

Adjusting injector slope and effects on WOT fuelling?
It seems to me if you're adjusting the injector slope (telling the ecu the size of the injectors is different!) that you're in effect sliding the WOT fuelling that much more rich/lean from it's intended target

Bug with U1794 and LS3 MN6 and questions about the tune
If you go into the "tune" menu even just to browse your parameters it makes the fuel level sender stop working when you restart the car, you have to either write another tune to reset the ecu or remove the ecu fuse / negative battery terminal to correct it
also, why is it so lean? mine runs 12.9:1 ...

RE: Re: RE: Stock log from 08 MN6, diablo tune + inj scope c
yeah i considered adding in PE, 4% for both ranges, I want ~12.4-12.5:1, you should never have to add in PE though right?!
