Looking for some info on custom tuning for 2001 7.3..I was curiuos as to what is available.

You can go into adjust parameters and lower the line pressure and it will help out with the hard shifting.If that is your issue.I have mine set kinda high and it turns over my 305s just about every time it shifts into 2nd gear if I am over half throttle.

You need a boost fooler.I put one on mine and it got rid of the codes.It keeps the computer from seeing over 20 to 21 psi of boost pressure.I am hitting 30 to 32psi boost with no codes.I have the reg.return system and I am running 68psi on fuel vs 55ish aswell.

I havent since I made the changes.Before the upgrades I had a few that were tweaked a little(seemed to help).I do need to take the laptop for a ride and log some different driving styles.

To be 100% Honest.I had better mpg with the 7R19D.I could get 21 to 22 MPG on the Highway,Now i get about 19.

I dont have the file on the new PC.

Do you mean,change the axle ratio on the truck or the programmer?If you are going to go back to 38's you should be ok with the current gear ratio in the truck.I know several with 38's and 40's on stock ratios,there not to quick out of the hole,but we are talking about 8000lbs plus.

I would try the 110 tune..modify parameters on the shift pressure..firm them up to 30 to 35 at half throttle and wide open throttle(as a starting point).With the shift kit and the big tires(4.11 or 4.56 would be a lot better) it is going to kill your bottom end,but you do not want to remove the ...

Having same issue with 85 hp tune..has anyone had success with the mods jbeast10 mentioned..any issue of creating back pressure on the turbo by installing the air regulator?..what did you set the fuel pressure at after installing the ITP??....Thanks for all the insight.. been runnin the tow tune ...
