Can you update the predator using the cars power or do you need to have the AC adapter?

I have currently installed 91 CAI tune. While monitoring LT/ST knock im seeing about 2.5-3.0 on LT knock not so much at wide open but more when crusing 50-60 under light accleration. Another question. When i go into modify stock tune to get to the cooling fans,mds and all the other stuff after i set what i want will it still stay at the 91 tune i previouly programed with just those options changed? Or does it go back to a stock tune for the vehicle with just those options ...

Thanks i havent explored that area yet. Are the ST/LT monitiors listed as such in the data logging or do they have a different acronym?

I just got my programer which is awesome! But i cant find the adjustment for the fans or the spark knock monitor. Im only at version 9r04 do i need to update to get more features? BTW my car is a 07 300c 5.7
