Calibration Update?
2019 Ram 1500 plugged in I2 and says it needs a calibration update. Still on factory PCM. Should I install the calibration update to the factory PCM? I'm guessing the 2019's still need the unlocked PCM?

Re: 03 Silverado Long Tube Headers
It seemed odd to me as well, but that is the only thing that changed the day the truck began running poorly. I guess custom tuning is the only way to find out.mikel wrote:tough to say, just gutting cats really shouldn't change the way the truck runs IMO.
Custom tune is needed for sure.
Thanks

Re: 03 Silverado Long Tube Headers
I had a chance to drive the truck for a little while this afternoon. It did finally set the codes for the missing rear O2 sensors, but nothing else.

Re: 03 Silverado Long Tube Headers
you definitely need a custom tune, but you may have another issue, no codes?
pinched O2 wires, etc?
I just checked again for codes, there are no codes, and the light is not on which is another thing that confuses me. The whole story: This is my brother in law's truck. He decided to have the cats ...

2003 Silverado Z71 EC, 5.3 auto
Installed CAI and borla exhaust along with Diablo Tune and the truck ran amazingly well.
Couple of weeks later, installed Pacesetter Long Tube headers with "no cats" y-pipe and the truck now runs like it has a 10,000 lb trailer behind it. Is this because the ...

Re: 2014 Ram 1500 3.6L
I guess I need to run the data log again as well. I have removed the K&N. It was obnoxiously loud. I have never had a K&N as loud as it was on this V6.

Re: 2014 Ram 1500 3.6L
Any dyno information on the 3.6L?
I guess I need to run a WOT log and check? I haven't seen much information. Do most just install the tune and forget it?
You can post your tunes from the tunes folder and a log or two. I'll take a look at it. See how it's doing.
To answer your question. Yes ...

I am not new to Diablosport, but I am new to the use of Diablosport with a Ram 1500. I have owned GM vehicles in the past.
I have installed the 87 octane tune and adjusted the tire size. The truck runs great. With my GM vehicles, I adjusted fuel trims and WOT power enrichment. I do not see the same ...

2009 Silverado 5.3L 4x4
I am tuning my son's 2009 Silverado 5.3L Z71 extended cab truck. It is stock for intake and exhaust. It has a 2-1/2" lift and 285/70R17 tires, basically one size over stock. So far, I had to go +5 on the injector slope. I wanted to check with you guys to see if you are getting similar results. Also ...

MPG Booster Tune
Is there a loss of power when installing the Mileage Booster Tune or does it stay the same as stock? From what I understand, the main difference is the truck will stay in 4-cylinder mode longer. Can someone give me more details about this tune, please?

RE: 2001 Chevrolet Silverado
I think I read somewhere that it is best to log for LTFT's when it is hot outside. It will range from about 15 - 100 degrees where I live. Right now, it is in the high 90's. Is my information correct? If so, I should log now for the optimum adjustment.
