Not sure if you have received an answer...Have a 2007 that I just did the same thing to. Diablo programming ended up wiping out all programming. Car had to be towed to dealership to have stock program reinstalled. Didn't tell them I tried to program, or warranty would not cover.

Having the same problems as Dave1957. Worked with Diablo today to "force" the backup. This still did not work and car would not start. Diablo informed me to have the dealership pick the car up and reinstall the factory program. Dealership called to say the programming was wiped out...would not even ...

I don't have any remote start on my car or any aftermarket electronics. Is there something else that could be causing? Can you recommend next steps that I should take?

Not sure if you have received an answer...but this just happened to me tonight. Did the same identical things you did to my 07 GT and now the car won't start and the fuel pump is clicking. Did you solve the problem? Thanks for the reply!
