i3 cant find fan settings
Had my i3 for awhile with some custom tunes installed. Recently had to restore to stock/backup file to diagnose a driveability problem which turned out to be a blown fuel pump fuse. With the stock tune the ECT is running hotter than ever before. I do not want to reload the custom tune since I am ...

Re: PLX wideband set up question
2 log files attached: configured to I3 channels one and two respectively. The external PID displayed as UNKNOWN in both cases and no data was observed in real time mode.
Backing up, I checked voltage output on the 2.5mm jack and the tip read 2.2V w/o the sensor connected and 2.2-4.9V with the ...

PLX wideband set up question
Trying to setup a PLX SM-AFR Wideband to datalog on my 06 CSRT8. I have given up on the BT interface (Multigauge) based on all the negative reviews and my experience so far. It just refuses to connect. I will just use this to log anyway. But, I cannot get it set up on the Dataviewer. It recognizes ...

Re: Analog wiring with Diablo inTune and Diablo Analog Pigta
The reason that you have more wires than you need is that the pigtail is 2 channel and you only need one for the 02 sensor. On another post I was informed that the tip is "channel one" for the intune. First side ring is channel two, and base of jack is ground. Hope that helps. Btw, I am still trying ...

Re: Analog Input I3
I ordered this connector before your post. Although this has two channels (4 conductor) the tip has no conductor. Does that mean it will not work with the I3?mikel wrote:2.5 x 5.5 mm tip, center is positive.

Re: Analog Input I3
Glad you asked the question. I think you are talking about the SM-AFR Multilink, right? I am getting ready to install one also on an 06 300 CSRT8. I thought that I had it figured out until I went to look for an answer to your question. The short answer is yes, it will work if there is a 0-5V analog ...

Re: Analog Input I3
Thanks for offering to share. I have not heard back yet from PLX. In terms of the jack size, I defer to Mike from DS since there is no spec for their jack that I can find. I thought this was supposed to be plug and play for an analog sensor.

OBDII Wideband pass through set up for I3
I just bought an I3. I have an AEM 30-0334 wideband AFR sensor that has pass through OBD capability which means that it is super clean and fast signal and does not require extra wiring. Plug and play. HP tuners and EFILive have worked out the config for this to work with their loggers. What about DS ...

i3 8345 set up question
Just purchased a refurb i3 8345 platinum for my 06 CSRT8. Downloaded the updater and DataViewer (WIN7) and noticed a few odd things in the Data Viewer. 1) the "scan tool" is identified as a Predator type i3 with the matching serial number; 2) the compatible tools list shows only Predator models; 3 ...
