i have an 04 cummins witha PP 7156. the problem ive been having is when cold out it idles very rough. it has a bad lope when it hits the high idle. it stops once i start driving. i removed the PP and now it idles fine no shaking or lope to the idle.

ok i got the 7156 finally and it runs great other then the injector knock that is real faint while just cruising
i love the power of the puck and cant wait for the predator to get here.
so what can i expect with them stacked as far as power and what should
i keep an eye other then my tranny?

ok the problem i was having has to be the wrong puck.
i put the puck in my buddies 04.5 and it works fine.
he could chirp the tires going thru every gear so i guess i need the
7156 puck if that dont work then ill get the predator sooner then i thought.

i have the auto but i dont understand why it runs bad in the 60 hp setting it should be ok for me to try the 7156
being the shop im gettn it from ordered me one alrdy. or should i try the predator?

ok after speaking with a tech he said i should come here. my question is
i have an 04 ctd build date is 10-18-03. i ordered the PP D7157
in the 90 hp seetting im gettn injector knock, but runs good and in the
60 hp setting its surging. so should i go with the 7156 or the 7159
also my cpl# is 8213 ...

so should i go with the 7156

ok i removed the PP and drove the truck for a bit.
then reinstalled it and the same thing happened. so i have removed it again
till i can get a new one. so which do u recommend as far as part #'s.

build date is 4-7-05
the build date for my 04 is 10-18-03

my 04 cpl number is 8213 ill get right back to u with the 05 number

i purchased the 7157 for my 04 and im having the same problems as some surging in the 60 hp setting. my ? is will this puck work in a 05 cummins?
a buddy of mine asked if he could try it but thought i better ask
first before he does so he dont do any damage to his truck.
