well besides alot of adjusting with your programmer,i have gibson short headers no cats,air raid intake with the tornado fuel saver mounted inside thetube that thing really works ,msd igntion system , electric fan got rid of the mech. fan, special grind clayton cam ,,roller lifters and roller ...

well mike went to the track this mourning and my 2004 silverado 5.3L with your predator programmer, and some slight mods ,put down a 13.32 at98.6 mph slowest was a 13.80, but all around went pretty good!

and if any body lives close to bakersfield , ca. we are having test and tunes starting tomorrow at 7 am through the whole weekend 30$ a day for unlimited runs each day at famoso race way

well my timing is increased to the max 15% which should be around 3 degrees

fuel octane

mike or ss will using higher octane than 91 benefit me at all or could i use like 105 or 110 lead or no lead , since i don't have cats, but will it help out a little in performance? or just a waste of money?

ok ss went up 1% on the slope and everything seems dialed right in, zeros across the board driving around and at wot runs really good can't wait till this weekend. to really try her out at the track!!!

well i put the stock maf back the readings are more consitsant now .078+ driving around at 60 mph and 1.25- at wot and that was making three passes each time it was 1.25- ltft so the granatelli does not work needless to say huh ?

ok i will try , it does make alot of sense that is all a maf does is tries to lean it out so the two maf, and the turner are fighting each other then correct?

long tube headers, no cats ,air raid intake, granatlli maf, ls6 cam roller everthing aftermaket,msd ignition,e3 plugs,410 gears with a eaton possy,no mech fan two eletric fans, and no ac belt on durning winter , haha and royal purple all the way through

well for my numbers i am -5% on the injector slope and -10% on the wotf does that seem about right? +2.38 driving around at 60mph -1.73 at wot in tow haul mode.

thanks for the tid bit lew went out and palyed some more a +2.07 driving around -0.78 at wot ,she is a rocket. haha but really thanks alot for the info. talk to you guys later

mike , this is chad from bakersfield, ca. ,ok i got ltfc down to 0.00% at wot in tow haul mode, so will this be ok for everyday driving? just driving around seening on a average 6.85% ltfc and also the engine seems to be running alot cooler @ 185 degrees will that mess with any other sensors?
