RE: True Tire Sizing, So Easy A Cave Man Can Do It!
Is it something with the tire manufacturers not sizing the tires right or could it be an issue with the predator? I have 265/75/R16 (stock is 245/75/R16) and when I put that into the tune I am actually 4-5 mph slower than my speedo (checked with GPS at 70mph). I had to put in stock setting to get ...

RE: Re: RE: U7193 WOT question
Reading through this thread has answered a lot of questions for me. I guess we can get WOT's using the U7193 but it doesn't log it in the tool. We use the laptop and dataviewer!! Cool!! I will try it and see what I get. Thanks guys.

RE: Shifting/Torque Mangement
Thanks for the info. I'm just a bit worried and upset that the U7193 doesn't do WOT's so I'm not sure if there are certain things that I just cant get changed/adjusted. Anyway, I'll probably get a custom tune anyway since I'm tired of the wierd reactions of my truck with the different tunes. Who ...

RE: Shifting/Torque Mangement
Sorry, been busy and didn't realize that there was a response to my post.
Anyway, I have the latest 9r07 version installed. I have the LTFT's dialed in (or at least I did a few months ago, I haven't done much for a while) so I should be good on that. So it sounds like I'm set since I shouldn't ...

Shifting/Torque Mangement
I have read on other posts about torque management and shifting using the Predator. I am wondering if there are other things I can do to increase the torque of my truck with the predator. I currently have the Diablo tune installed and the truck feels sluggish, especially starting from a dead stop. I ...

RE: U7193 WOT question
Ok. So I need to get a wideband O2 sensor. Does this include just the sensor or is there another guage/meter that comes with it? I looked online for one and they all seem to come with some sort of monitor along with it. I'm not looking for anything that I have to mount in the cab. Would a new ...

U7193 WOT question
Yes, yes, I know. No WOT's for U7193 using DSLogRedux! However I am wondering if it is possible to log WOT's using a U7193 and if anyone could help with any tune modifications for increased power if I post the logs. I am definately curious as to whether or not I can get even more power from my '05 ...

RE: U7193 2005 Chevy Silverado tunes and WOTs
I like that. Sometimes I feel that my tranny doesn't shift smooth enough or it doesn't downshift when I punch it as fast as I would like. But I put in the Diablo tune yesterday and it seems to be much better.
Thanks again.

RE: U7193 2005 Chevy Silverado tunes and WOTs
Well, I guess I don't really need a custom tune. I am just curious aobut all the things I could do to make my truck better. The only mods I have are a K&N CAI and a Magnaflow muffler. I also got larger diameter tires the last time I had them replaced (245's to 265's). Other than that it is all stock ...

RE: U7193 Dataviewer question
I finally got it to work yesterday. I re-read your replies and noticed something. You asked if they came up when I was recording. Well, I guess I forgot to click Record when using the DV. It seems to work just fine now. Thanks guys!!

RE: U7193 Dataviewer question
I think the DV is working properly but not sure if the Predator is actually sending the live feed to the Laptop. I haven't tried it yet this weekend but will later today. I will let you know what happens.
I appreciate your help.

U7193 2005 Chevy Silverado tunes and WOTs
According to the DSLogRedux I am unable to log certain parameters with my Class 2 tool (U7193). I can only analyze cruise data. Is there going to be an update sometime when I can analyze more data and possibly even log WOT's?

RE: U7193 Dataviewer question
Yes. I download and install all new versions as soon as they come out. I am going to retry again this weekend to see if I can get it to work and will write down my process.
