Are you sure its downshifting? You might just be feeling the torque converter locking/unlocking when coming out of MDS. When running a programmer, coming out of MDS feels harsh compared to running stock.

Where does it freeze up at in the process....for example can you get to the predator power cycle step?

Guess they don't have it straightened out. When I did mine I updated to 9t02d and installed the 93 canned tune. Then I sent that tune to get the custom prime delete added and had the same problem you just had.

It really seems like whatever they did with the newer crom's just doesn't like prime ...

We can do prime delete on 07 and 08 models right now, anyone wants one shoot me your last tune written.

Nothing has been addressed or touched in regards to prime delete in any tunes ...

The 2nd prime delete worked for some guys running the original crom. With the 9t02d beta it didn't work right. Maybe with this new update it will work again, but I won't be trying it... :mrgreen:

Have you guys made any progress with 2nd prime delete or find out why it didn't work with the 9t02d ...

Johan, truck was fixed Friday but I was away for a wedding so I didn't get to drive it until just now. Everything is running nice. OD/UD clutches were burnt. They overhauled the trans, replaced the pump and flushed the cooler. Not sure if this can help ...

Is this topic only for the 05-06 guy's issues or is it open to other issues as well???

Update on the transmission shifting issue:

Took it to the dealer this morning and got a call back this afternoon. Transmission is fried. Not sure exactly what went but they said the fluid was burnt so they are pulling it tomorrow to find out exactly what went out. Good news is they are covering it ...

Its hard to tell the stuttering in the video but right near the end when I roll on it a little to get it to downshift it downshifts then downshifts again a few seconds later by itself without any additional throttle and it hits hard. Gotcha. Thanks for the info on that. Now I just need to figure out why everything is shifting weird. Hopefully its not my OD clutches fried.

I tried installing another the 91 tune (have always used the 93) to see if any codes come up after installing it and nothing. Still only does one write process. Didn't drive it yet....gotta go eat some turkey.

Is anyone able to read the TCM calibration ID from the predator? Mine only shows the pcm ...
